Fred Le Chevalier Street Art hits East London

Keen observers of the street art scene in the East End will have noticed a number of distinctive paste ups popping up lately from French artist Fred Le Chevalier.

Popular in Paris, Chevalier looks like he is trying to expand his reach by pasting up his characters in locations around London. They are quite distinctive and feature cartoon type figures engaging in a variety of situations. Mainly black and white they often feature splashes of colour to highlight a particular feature of the art.

I’ve taken a few pictures mainly around the Shoreditch and Hackney Wick areas featuring a variety of his paste ups. I’m sure there are more around so when I find them I’ll add them into the post. In the meantime, hope you enjoy the pics and keep your eyes peeled for his work dotted around
