Street Art in Cargo On Rivington Street

Situated in the heart of Shoreditch, the camelionesque venue of Cargo transforms from coffee shop during the day to uber trendy bar at night.

Both outside and in, Cargo also finds itself at the heart of the street art scene.  The venue is built inside an old railway tunnel with the brick walks on either side daubed with the markings of various artists with the likes of Eine, Bastardilla and SAM3 making their presence felt.

It’s location on Rivington Street means that it doesn’t take long for anyone wandering around that road to spot something new.  Within touching distance of the front doors pieces by Stik and Cranio can be seen.

Inside the venue two works by Banksy are protected behind perspex against the back wall, sharing the space alongside the likes of Spanish artist Ozmo, French portrait artist C215 and Israels Broken Fingaz Crew collective.

Putting it all together means quite a big post full of pictures but here it all is, together in one place, the art of Cargo.
