What better way to spend a wet Novembers day than by walking along an East End canalside.
The Lea Navigation from the Bow Roundabout to the Hertford Union Canal is a nice little walk which takes you right alongside the Olympic Stadium, passing the Old Ford Lock and giving views onto the Fish Island where many of the old warehouses now boast some impressive street art.
Old school artists like Sweet Toof, Gold Peg and Mighty Mo can be seen in abundance alongside new additions from the likes of Christiaan Nagel and Cranio.
It’s a good place to spot something cool, and with the increasingly arty area of Fish Island so close by, getting a coffee at one of the trendy canalside bars is not difficult and well worth a visit.
