Flying toast took over Soho with one of London’s most recognisable street artists opening up her studio for a celebration of all things toast.
In terms of tags, the toast has become pretty iconic on the London street art scene. She’s been painting it a lot over the past few years with the result being that now the flying toast even has it’s own instagram account.

Now based out of Soho and occupying space in an office block which has been converted into temporary artist studios, Artista has been a favourite of ours for some time. In fact, we knew her before the toast was even a thing!
Her style though is still as familiar as it ever was, bright colours, fun characters and more often than not … toast will combine in Artista’s work. There’s no doubt about it, hers is some of the most fun street art you are likely to see.
So not much else to say in this post other than to just acknowledge the toast-tastic art that never fails to raise a smile and which has become one of the most popular tags on the London street art scene.
Artista’s takeover was held in her studio for one day only in Soho and we visited on 17 January 2017. For more posts featuring the work of Artista check out this post here and this interview here
