Pottering around the streets of Shoreditch today I spotted London based street artist Alo painting the front of the Bear Gallery on Great Eastern Street.
Alos work can be spotted all over the area and often looks like paste ups. There not, every one is drawn in situ but he often chooses to paint over old posters that have been fly posted already onto the walls. This gives the effect of a paste up when it’s not.
So whilst in the area I tried to spot some more of his work, I didn’t have to look hard he’s been quite prolific.

Update – 30th July 2013. It can’t be denied that Alo has been very busy of late. Since the original post I’ve been seeing his work pop up all over the East End and he seems to be getting a real name for himself.

Lots of his work has been popping up around town recently, very talented guy
I can’t pass by any of his work without having to snap it! I remember that day I saw him painting outside the Bear Gallery, I just had to tell him how much I liked his art!
He is pretty good and really prolific these days which is amazing because his work is very intricate
Thanks for the link….those were the first pictures of his work in London. Here’s some more:
