DALeast street art in London

Update – since I originally posted these pictures DALeast has been even more active with an impressive pair of fighting tigers on Hanbury Street. Scroll down to see them and some more pictures of the incredible mural on Sclater Street.

Chinese artist DALeast has been hitting the streets of London over the past few weeks adding his unique style of painting to some popular spots.

The artist manages to create an ethereal effect with his use of colour, emphasis on shadow and creative use of lines.  He creates an image which looks like it’s coming apart as it moves toward you.  The effect is visually stunning.

Spots painted include Rivington Street, Sclater Street car park and Pedley Street close to Brick Lane. These add to places the artist has painted the world over. As usual pictures are below.

The Hanbury street fighting tigers are fantastic and really do this popular spot proud.
