The Street Art of Dalston Junction

I’ve posted about Dalston and it’s art before but with good reason.  It’s a good place to spot street art and just a short hip skip and a jump from the overground station at Dalston Junction a good few spots can be seen.  The good locations immediately around the station are:

-Hartwell Lane opposite the station entrance to the right and just beyond the big Dalston Peace Mural.  Walking time approx 2 mins

-Abbots Street car park, take the turning down Ashwin Street just before the Dalston Eastern Curve Garden.  Follow the road around and turn right when it gets to the junction with Abbot Street.  The car park is not far at the end.  Walking time approx 3 mins

-Passing Clouds on Richmond Road.  A little bit further than the other two locations but not devastatingly so.  Turn left out of the station and left down the Kingsland Road.  It’s a 5 minute walk to Richmond Road which has the Haggerston Pub on it’s corner.  A few metres away is Passing Clouds an interesting building decked out in all sorts of random art.
