Mr Brainwash exhibition

So for the past month Mr Brainwash aka David Guetta of ‘Exit Through the Gift Shop’ fame has been exhibiting in London.  Using the vast space afforded him by the Old Sorting Office on New Oxford Street, Guetta has chosen a fantastic location to display his wares.  Visitors to the free show are given gifts and encouraged to pick up posters which are distributed at the end, all in all Mr Brainwash certinaly seems to want people to remember his show.

In terms of the art itself Brainwash seems to have been inspired by British culture with numerous images of the Queen and other British icons such as  the Beatles.  He also makes interesting use of a London Taxi and an iconic red telehone box, possibly his most famous work the album cover for Madonnas ‘celebration’ is also on display.
